Jesus of Nazareth, commonly known as Jesus Christ, is a supporting character of The Luxurious Loud House. He is the son of God and resides in Heaven with him. He is the Messiah prophesied by the prophet Isaiah.

Biography

Jesus was born in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus worked as a carpenter, then he was led to the desert and fasted 40 days there. However, during the 40 days in the desert, Satan tried to tempt Jesus three times: first by asking him to turn stones into bread, second by telling him to jump off the pinnacle of God's temple, and trying to have the former bow down and worship him in exchange for all the kingdoms in the world, but he rejected the temptations from him. He gathered many followers, including Simon Peter, Mary Magdalene, Matthew, and the other disciples. He performed many miracles (Healing a paralyzed man, feeding 5000 people, healing a blind man, and many other miracles), and created many parables, the most famous of them being The Prodigal Son, the Pharisee and the Tax Collector, The Lost Sheep, the Mustard Seed, the Unforgiving Servant, the Rich fool, and the Unjust Steward. However, although he is revered as the Messiah, there were also people who opposed him: the Pharisees. The Pharisees were envious that the crowd was turning to Jesus and not them. They questioned him many times, but one of them, Nicodemus, became Jesus' follower. Jesus was eventually betrayed by one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who later committed suicide, Jesus was arrested and brought to the High Priest, Caiaphas, for trial. Jesus was convicted and sentenced to death and handed over to the Roman Governor, Pontius Pilate. Pilate sees that Jesus had done nothing wrong and held a Passover ceremony in which one prisoner condemned to death was released. Pilate had two prisoners sentenced to death, one was Jesus himself and the other was Barabbas, who was convicted of murdering a Roman centurion. Pilate did this in hopes that the crowd would choose Jesus, but however, the Pharisees persuaded the crowd to choose Barabbas, and then Jesus was sentenced to be crucified, but not before having a crown of thorns placed on his head. He was later crucified on a hill called Calvary, and died. He was later buried by one of his followers, Joseph of Arimathea, in newly carved tomb. Three days after his death, he was resurrected, and forty days after, he ascended into heaven.
